Many of you will have already noticed a few changes to the Elders. I was waiting for all the concurrent changes to be finalised so I could announce them all in a single forum post.

First of all it saddens me to announce that Mictian is no longer an Elder in OUF. He has been playing on the Asia-Pacific servers and built strong ties to a guild that raids at a time suitable to him.
Mictian will still play with OUF when he can find the time but due to his other guild he decided to step down as an Elder and has been given the rank of Champion from now.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Mictian for everything he has done for the guild, both as an Elder and before that in the pre-launch period.
We will have to make the most of any time he spends with us on Ajunta Pall.

Secondly you may have seen the post by Udumbara in the members section in which he announced he was "stepping to the side" as an Elder because of new RL commitments combined with the usual family and business commitments cutting heavily into the time he has available for playing.
Udumbara will still be an Elder and assist in guild administration but his ingame presence will be reduced.
So we want to also thank Udumbara for his tireless efforts in the guild to-date and we hope that his RL circumstances allow for more game time than he anticipates!

Thirdly and finally, because of losing Mictian as an Elder and Udumbara's activity as an Elder set to reduce we have decided to appoint a new Elder.
After careful consideration and several anonymous nominations we have appointed Targaryen as an Elder.
Congratulations Targaryen! We know you will continue to be a blessing to the guild as you have been since the day you joined!
